Ledger, 1786-1816.

Ledger recording accounts for work on ships, with names of owners and sundries sold. Some accounts credited with barter for variety of materials. It includes an inventory of the estate of Benjamin Akerly, of Cow Neck, N.Y., with personal property sold at vendue and names of purchasers and prices paid, as well as accounts of Samuel Franklin & Co. and the estates of Samuel Akerly and John Simpson. Finally, it also records the accounts for rents, various properties, house, yards, etc., in New York City with a record of fee to Aaron Burr, and credit to him for house rent on 10 June 1789.
